MBCT First Phrases 2.1

Children often acquire language skills through melodic means. Melodic Based Communication Therapy (MBCT) is a proven intervention designed to harness the musical strengths that some children with autism and other developmental delays may possess. MBCT – First Phrases comprises 19 animations and 19 melodies, illustrating practical and social initial words and expressions. Although specifically tailored for children with autism spectrum disorder, this application can also be utilized to educate nonverbal and minimally verbal young children on functional and social vocabulary. It is important to consider that this application is specifically intended for children who have a vocabulary of fewer than 25 words.
